Itinerary:

After Breakfast at your Hotel you will be met by your Golden Pyramid Travel Tour Guide who will accompany you to your first stop in Aswan; the Temple of Kom Ombo which is located 45 km North of Aswan. In Ancient times its name was Nibit which means ‘the Golden City’

This site is very distinctive because it is located in the big curvature made by Nile River. Kom Ombo Temple combines both Ptolemaic and  Roman Art. The Temple has 2 sections which together form the main Temple, one of these is dedicated to God Sobek the other for Horus wr which means the Great Horus. There is a small building called MaMisy and a shrine for Goddess Hathor along with other Monuments

You will next visit Edfu Temple which is located in Aswan, the Temples main Deity was Hor Behdty, the main Temple there was Edfu Temple and is considered as one of the best preserved and marvelous Temples in Egypt from the Ptolemaic era, the construction process for this Temple began during the Reign of  King Ptolemy III, there is a small building which is called MaMisy and means the ‘house of holy birth‘, the Temple combines elements of both Ancient Egyptian and  Ptolemaic Art

On the walls of the Temple you can see very important scenes and writings, the most important scenes are those that portray the History of the conflict between Gods Horus and Seth, the life of Goddess Hathor; the wife of God Hor Behdty when she was transported between Dendera & Edfu Temples. You will also see Wedding Festivals of Gods and Goddesses, and scenes of offerings and the establishment of the Temple
