 Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Giza Pyramids

You will be met by your Golden Pyramid Travel Tour Guide at your Cruise Ships exit door. They will be holding a sign with you name on. You will be accompanied to Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your 2 Day Tour 

Your Tour will begin with a visit to the Giza plateau to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. You can then explore the area of the Great Sphinx, which includes the statue of the Sphinx; the largest statue in the world which evoked awe and fear in the hearts of the visitors in ancient times through to today, and the Valley Temple. Both these belong to the King Chephren Pyramid complex. You can also soak up the ambiance of the Valley Temple by wandering through the Ancient Hall and corridors

You will then have the wonderful experience of enjoying your lunch at a local Restaurant and then continue your Tour by next visiting the Step Pyramids of Zoser; which was built by the architect Imhotep.  This was built in stones instead of the usual wood and raw bricks in the 3rd Dynasty, dated around 2630BC

At the conclusion of your days Tour you will be accompanied to your Hotel where you will be assisted with a smooth check in for your night in Cairo

Day 2:

Egyptian Museum/Saladin Citadel

After Breakfast at your hotel you will be accompanied by your Tour Guide to visit Saladdin Citadel, Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali which is an Architectural masterpiece. The Mosque was built between 1830 & 1848 and designed by the Architect Yousif Boushnaq, it took 3 years just to draw the design. This mosque was built for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt from 1805-1849

You will have lunch at a local Restaurant and then continue to the Egyptian Museum which contains the largest collection of Egyptian Antiques from different  Ancient era through the Pharaonic Period. The Museum displays a unique assortment of Egyptian Art like the collection of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamen which contains his famous Golden Mask, Jewelry, Sarcophagus and many other items. You can also enter the Mummy room (extra ticket) which houses 11 mummified Pharaoh. The Museum collections include over 120,000 items and is considered to be the most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world

Your last stop will be at Khan El Khalili Bazaar where you can take the opportunity to do some shopping (time permitting)
At the conclusion of your Tour you will be accompanied back to the Port of Alexandria to rejoin your Cruise ship
