Day 1: Arrive Cairo

Welcome to Egypt.

You will be met and assisted by your Golden Pyramid Travel Representative at Cairo International Airport  they will accompany you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Once at your hotel your representative will assist with you a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each Tour. In the evening enjoy complimentary dinner at your hotel in Cairo

Welcome Drink

 

Day 2: The Great Pyramids, Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo,The Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue & Khan El Khalili

After Breakfast at your Hotel you will be met by  your personal Tour Guide who will accompany you to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and MenkuRaa. These were built from a massive number of huge stones; Cheops was around 2 million pieces. Inside the Pyramids are numerous corridors and passages which you can enjoy exploring with an extra ticket

You will continue on to see the Sphinx, with the head of a Pharaoh and a Lion’s body which dates back to the time of Chephren. Your Tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus

You will have your Lunch at a quality local Restaurant then continue on your Tour to the Egyptian Museum which contains the most important artifacts from different eras of Ancient Egypt. The Museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of Royal ornaments like the collection from the famous King Tutankhamen of his Treasure, Gold and Jewelry.

Your next stop will be at Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church which is the oldest hanging Church in Egypt and Ben Ezra Synagogue.  

Your last stop will be at Khan El Khalili Bazaar where you can enjoy seeing the amazing spectacle of souvenirs, and do shopping if you wish

At the conclusion of your Tour you will be accompanied back to your Hotel

Day 3: Luxor, Karnak & Luxor Temples, Valley of the Kings & Nile Cruise

After Breakfast at your Hotel you will checkout and be transferred to Cairo Airport  in time for your flight to Luxor where you will be met and assisted by your Golden Pyramid Travel Representative who will then transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise to check in. You will then have your lunch on board and then begin your Tour by a visit to Karnak Temple; a complex of Temples which contains numerous areas. You will also visit the sacred lake which has not been dry from the time of the Pharaohs, this is a symbol of the eternal ocean.  You will see huge columns decorated with Ancient Egyptian drawings and writings about more than 5000 years ago and have not diminished in their beauty in all that time

You will then visit Luxor Temple, which is located in the center of the city and shows  marvelous contrasts between Ancient and Modern times.

At the conclusion of your Tour you will be accompanied back to your Nile Cruise where you will have a beautiful Dinner

Day 4: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon & Sail to Edfu

After breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, enjoy your Tour to the West Bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings which contains a amazing collection of Tombs that were dedicated to the Kings of New Kingdom from Ancient Egypt, these Tombs which were carved into the rock and decorated with Mythological scenes and writings. This is where the Ancient Egyptians buried their Kings such as Tut-Ankh-Amen, AmonhotepII, Tutmosis III and King Ramssess VI with great Treasures of Gold, Silver, Jewelry and Sarcophaguses

You will next visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was carved inside the Western mountain of Thebes by order of Queen Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. You will then see the Colossi of Memnon (two huge statues dating back to King Amenhotep III)

You will then be accompanied back to your Nile Cruise where you will sail to Edfu; Edfu is located in the Aswan area, its main Deity was Hor Behdty

Day 5: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, you will visit Edfu Temple; the main Temple there is Edfu Temple and is considered as one of the best preserved and marvelous Temples in Egypt from the Ptolemaic era. The construction process for this Temple began during the Reign of King Ptolemy III. The Temple combines elements from both Ancient Egyptian and Ptolemaic Art. There is a small building which is called MaMisi, this means the house of Holy Birth 

Sail to Kom Ombo (a site which located 45 km far from North Aswan, It was called “Nibit” in the ancient times means “the golden city”. This site has a distinct site as it is located in the big curvature which made by Nile River.This temple combines between the elements of the Ptolemaic Art and the Roman Art. The temple has two sections which form together the main temple, one of them dedicated to God “Sobek” and the other for “Horus wr” means the great Horus. There is a small building called MaMisi and a shrine for Goddess Hathor and other monuments.)

Take your lunch on board.Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board your Nile Cruise.

Day 6: Aswan, the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Temple of Philae

After breakfast on board your Nile cruise, enjoy the day sightseeing in Aswan. You will start your Tour by heading to see the High Dam and the largest known Ancient Obelisk, which is located in the Northern Region of the stone quarries of Ancient Egypt the Unfinished Obelisk. You will then proceed to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Philae Island is located in the center of the Nile River at Aswan and consists of an enormous number of huge stones and rocks of Pink Granite 

Philae Island contains numerous Temples dedicated to the Goddess Isis. The Temples were in danger from the rising water level after the construction of the High Dam so the Egyptian Government along with UNESCO moved it to the higher position to protect them

These Temples show the extent of influence the Goddess Isis had in this period. The main Temple dates back to the Ptolemaic period, and one of the most important facts of these Temples is that they contains the last Hieroglyphic and ?Demotic texts from Ancient Egypt along with a very important scene showing the headwaters of the Nile to the South

Day 7: Return to Cairo

After Breakfast on board your Nile Cruise you will disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and accompanied to your Hotel

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 2013, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays. Single room occupancy is applied for those coming with other and prefer single occupancy. So there will be a different rate for solo traveler.

 

Children Policy

0 – 01.99 Free of Charge

2 – 5.99 pay 25% of tour price

6 – 11.99 pay 50% of tour price

12+ pay full tour price as per adult person

If your tour package includes airfare then an extra charges for your children may apply.

 

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired Egypt tour, spaces will be secured upon receive a deposit of 25 %, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays and tour packages the required deposit is 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit cards, wire transfer and or Western Union

 

Egypt Entry Visa

You need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Egypt and you can obtain a visa from the Egyptian Consulate before departure. Also, entry visa is available upon arrival Egypt airports against USD 15 per passport for specific nationalities and need to check before.

 

Sleeper Trains in Egypt

Sleeper trains are designed and equipped according to a satisfactory standard and quality that was set up by the Egyptian Railway Authority. Sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan is about 14 hours and sleeping train from Luxor to Cairo is about 11 hours.

 

Additional Entry Tickets

All our Egypt tour packages and programs don’t include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as entering one of the Pyramids inside, to visit the Mummies Room at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, to visit the Solar Boat Museum at the Pyramids area or to enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen at Valley of the Kings in Luxor

 

Tipping

It is a customary attitude for expressing ones satisfaction of good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise if you are willing to offer it, this would be great and if not, you are not obliged to do it
