El Mursi Abu Elabas was built in 1775 AD on the eastern harbour of Alexandria over a tomb of a Spanish Saint and scholar.   Architects from all over the world come to El Mursi Abu Elabas to gain creative inspiration from it and tourists flock here to take in the ambience and photo opportunities of such a beautiful piece of architectural design and workmanship.
